LONG BEACH >> Miller Children's Hospital's Gary Chmel - along with the rest of the hospital's pediatric cardiology team - traveled to Quezon City in the Philippines for a mission trip during which hospital personnel performed surgeries on 10 children who, according to the Long Beach hospital, likely would not have otherwise received care.
