350,000 deaths in American hospitals due to medical errors, Sen. Barbara Boxer says

With an average of 325,000 people dying in American hospitals each year from medical errors, U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer released a report Friday urging California's doctors, nurses and others to increase their efforts to prevent what she noted is the third leading cause of death nationwide behind heart disease and cancer.
