Thousands raise $2.6 million for cancer research

Thousands of golfers, cyclists, rowers and walkers helped raise $2.6 million for cancer research at the annual Prouty cancer fundraiser in Hanover on Saturday, setting a record for the amount raised on the day of the event, organizers said.
